2012 Charleston Area Races

Over the past few years, Catch the Leprechaun has received tremendous support from other races in the area.  If you are a runner or a volunteer, we hope you will help us return the favor by getting involved in any of the following events:
Cooper River Bridge Run (March 31)
The Cooper River Bridge Run is one of the premier running events in the country attracting runners from all over the world to compete in the 6.2 mile race.  It is the highlight of the South Carolina running calendar and it shouldn't be missed.  To learn more, please visit http://www.bridgerun.com/

Avondale 5K (October 13)
Whether you walk it, run it, or skip it, you'll be doing it in the name of a good cause. Lace up your running shoes for the 3nd Annual Avondale 5K Run & Walk.
On Saturday, October 13, 2012, runners, walkers, dogs, and strollers wil
l flood the Avondale neighborhood in West Ashley once again to raise money for the Charles Webb Center. Last year, there were 300 registered participants and $20,000 was raised for Charles Webb! With your help, we hope to double that amount this year.

The Avondale 5k Run & Walk is for the entire family. Including your lovable dog. We encourage you to show off your well behaved dog and race with them by your side on a leash. You and your dog will love the first and second place prize for the 2 dogs to cross the finish line first.
