2012 Race Info

Registration
Online Registration has closed, but you can register at On the Run through Thusday at 3:00pm or on race day at Mt Pleasant Waterfront Park from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

Packet Pick-Up/Late Registration
Prior to the race, packet pick-up and late registration will be held at On the Run.  920-A9 Houston Northcutt Blvd. Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 (near Harris Teeter)
  • Wednesday, March 14 from 10:30am - 6:00pm
  • Thursday, March 15 from 10:30am - 3:00pm
If you cannot make it to On the Run, you can register and pick up your packet on race day at Mt Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park from 4:00-6:00.

Race
The race will be held rain or shine.  It will begin promptly at 6:30pm at the Mount Pleasant Waterfront Park which is located at the base of the Arthur Ravenel bridge. The address is as follows:

At 6:15, the bagpiper will start playing. This is your signal to get ready to run as he will be leading the runners/walkers to the starting line shortly after the music begins.

If you are walking and/or have a stroller, please start the race at the back of the pack.

Parking
Please arrive at Mt Pleasant Waterfront Park by 5:45 as the road to the parking lot will be closed at 6:00. The race starts near the base of the Cooper River Bridge during rush hour so there will be traffic. Please plan accordingly!

Awards & Prizes
A "Pot of Gold" will be given out to the Top 3 Overall Men and Women, Top Male Master & Top Female Master, Top Male Grand Master & Top Female Grand Master. Medals will go to the top 3 in each age group: 12 and under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.

Anyone who finishes before the Leprechaun will receive a souvenir mug.

All finishers will be entered to win a pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses courtesy of Jackson Davenport. Stick around after the race. The Winner will be announced during the awards ceremony and you must be present to win.

The Awards Ceremony will begin at 7:30pm

St Patrick's Day Party (6:30pm - 9:30pm)
Your race registration includes admission to the St Patrick's Day party. We will have food, drinks, beer (for anyone over 21) and live music. We will have an ID check where wristbands will be issued to anyone who is over 21. Please remember to bring your ID to the race!
